Application form updated with the new fee

From today, Tier 1 entrepreneur fee for initial/extension applications will be £1204
HO has updated the application form which must be used if you submit your application from today onwards. The guide and rules remain unchanged.

Hi Zimba,

My solicitor told me you can use the same old form up to 21 days from the change. the only thing you have to change is the payment section. not the whole application form.

As someone else is double checking the whole pack . i have already filled the old form and gave it to her. she said she will get new payment form ready for me.

Yes, No change noticed so far (new changes will be introduced from 06/04/2016) so it seems only payments section with coverpage will replace the old application

Technically rules have not changed but be aware that the form version appears under every page. I recommend using the latest form at all times to be safe.

But my solicitor insist only to change the payment section. she is saying that according to the law you can submit the old form up-to 21 days.

i am not sure how this works.

Seems to be this:

Transitional arrangements for specified forms used in postal and courier applications
34Y. Where an application is made no more than 21 days after the date on which a form is specified (within the meaning of paragraph 34) and on a form that was specified immediately prior to the date of the new specification, the application is deemed to have been made on the specified form (and is therefore not to be treated as invalid by reason only of being made on the “wrong” form).”
