Home office letter on Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa

Post by vj12 » Fri Jun 27, 2014 10:43 am

Hi Guys,

Tier1 Entrepreneur visa applied on 29th May as joint application for me & partner
Bio metric letter received on 5th June
Bio Metric sent back to Home office on 6th June
Received letter from Home on 27th June

Need help to know if anyone received letter from Home office as below .

Although we would normally decide your application within eight weeks from the date it was submitted , unfortunately this is not going to be possible in your case.
This is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision
Pls share your thought if anyone knows about it as how long it would take to process the visa

Hi Khan ,

Could you provide more details on when you had applied T1 Entrepreneur Visa and Bio metric completion dates ?
Have you been called by Home office for any interview after receiving this letter?

Hi All,
I came to know that huge backlog of applications are pending with home office due to which there is a delay in granting visas. My case is pretty straight forward with out any much complications but it was mentioned a different reason mentioning extremely complicated case by home office. Is it a standard letter which HO sends out to all so that applicants do not call and follow up every time for status on their application .

Below link talks about backlog on passport but not on Visas

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/pa ... og-3712696

Any expert comments on backlog of applications please

Hi All,
I have shown investment funding from Venture capitalist firm for Entrepreneur Visa. Is there any way home office seeks for more additional clarification from Venture capital firms ? How credible the Venture capitalist letter make impression in Home office?
Is home office sending letters saying that your case is extremely complicated to selected venture capitalist through whom we had applied for entrepreneur visa ?
