Add 2nd Director in a company

Hello every1,

I am running an IT company and my visa approved last month.

My Question is can i add other director in my company and would that be counted as employee ?
as per our visa requirements we have to give jobs to two persons, so if i add other director in my company would that be counted as one employee job?
and also what would be the effect on my application when i apply for extension ? because i was the only director of company when my visa approved.

I am not a pro but my understanding is if the director is not a share holder he is an employee

what if he is 50% shareholder?
