hi, i am
on tier 1 visa and pregnant now' well i
don't know if i am eligible to apply for maternity leave and how will
it work as i work for my own
company as director.

yeah as said by Zimba u are working for your self which mean u can pay yourself maternity pay how much you want to pay. And i am pretty sure u can reclaim only statutory maternity pay from HMRC if you are a small company. You might want to check it from an accountant.

Hi
You can apply for maternity leave as I was in the same situation and I got my matanity pay already so as a director of the company you are eligible to get to maternity pay .
I am assuming you are on payroll of your company as well as most of the director are taking the salary from the company as well

I suggest to talk to your accountant. You seem be to be very confused and uninformed about maternity pay.
I also do not think this is relevant to Tier 1E rules at all.

talk to your accountant as the maternity pay is paid by government through your company .but still it depend on individual situation .
