PSW dependent

Hello,

Can anyone please advice me whether home office takes special consideration when appying for visa or not. I need to change my wifes student visa into PSW dependent. My wife's pregnant at the moment and if she goes back to her country to apply for entry cleareance she would be 6 months pregnant and would not be allowed to fly back (not safe for flying). Does anyone know what home office would do in this case, will they accept the application form here or not? .
