Administrative review ( Related to India )

Post by potterbond007 » Wed Apr 07, 2010 7:52 pm

ok.. so most of you guys know about whatmy whole situation is.. For those of you who have no idea i just wanna say that I have filed an administrative review for a PSW decision that was refused. Some of you may know that all the documents you send while doing an out of country application except your passport ( which will be send back to you ) is kept on hold at the British Consulate for 28 days in case an applicant plans to file for admin review. If you dont want to go for an admin review, you need to mail the Consulate and they will send back your documents.
I had send my application for administrative review to the address that the Consulate asked me to but the problem is that I haven't had any news about my review and it's been almost 1 month now. I dont even know if they got my application for review. I haven't received the documents I submitted while applying for my Visa yet so I guess that is a good sign. If my application for admin review had not been received, I guess they would have send my documents back..
I phoned the VFS helpline but they don't care about admin reviews ( since they dont make money from it ).. They said that your application may/may not be recieved.. It may/may not have been processed.. You may/may not get a decision in 28 days.. Leaves me wondering why i bothered to call them in the first place (that sounded like a weather report).. Anyways.. My question is.. if anyone has been in the same situation for an admin review in India, where do i call or what do i do to get some information about what is happening... thanks..
