Post by khizard » Sun Aug 15, 2010 1:33 pm

These days i am on student visa, in january 2011 will get my degree and apply for the PSW visa, after getting PSW next year in february or march i want to bring my family(WIFE+2KIDS) to UK. The question is ....

1 - Does my wife need to show that she can speak and understand English, by taking an English language test with one of approved test providers as a PSW dependant ??????

2 - If the answer YES, Can you provide me the list of approved test providers in pakistan ?

3 - How much funds does my wife need to show for applying visa as a PSW dependant ?

4 - Is it possible if i show the maintenance in my wife account (in pakistan) OR I must have to show my own account having this funds ?

5 - For How long should this maintenance amount be in the account ? Do i need to maintain my or my wife's account for atleast 3 months ?

PLEASE REPLY ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, AND SEND THIS ALSO TO MY EMAIL ADDRESS w2sah@hotmail.com

EC application(s) are subject to immigration rules in force at the time of the application. No one can tell you today what the rules will be when your family applies for EC in 2011.

Under current rules,
1. No.
2. Irrelevant.
3. Read the PBS dependents policy guidance.
4. In any bank anywhere in the world.
5. Read the policy guidance.
