Immigration Status

Hi,

I've submitted my PSW application, and have a question regarding meeting the requirements for Immigration Status. Section J requires a valid visa for the entire period of study in the UK. My visa letter from the University states the start date of my course as 01.09, but I've mentioned the start date of my period of study as 02.10 since I did not receive my visa till 29.09. Could someone tell me if that was a wrong thing to do?
