i hold the account with the natwest bank.... yesterday i went to tkae the statement and they gave me a printed copy of the statement. it contains bank name, logo, address , sortcode, account number and every transaction. but its a black and white copy. but they refused to stamp or give a covering letter to that. therefore i have sent my documents with that statement to UKBA.

i am on doubt whether they will accept or not. i have attached a covering letter by explaining my situation. but i will receive my original statement on coming wednesday ( 1st of feb) what can i do with that.

could you anyone suggest me.plssssss thank you in advance

Hi Agash,
You should have waited for the original statement because if the bank statement is not official, than it should have at least bank name, account number, your name, transaction and stamped by the bank at every page, otherwise it will not be accepted. HOwever as you have already posted your application, so you should take the change in circumstances form and send it to UKBA with reference details that you have like your passport, name and also you can explain to them .

thanks for your kind reply. the bank said i will receive my bank statement by 1st of february. but i want the reference number for my application could you tell me where can i get the reference number for my application.

I am not sure about that though, maybe you get one when you get the acknowledgement letter, however it is better if you can call UKBA to ask them that what reference you should provide
