Tier 1 general and Tier 2 general

hi all,

i understand tier 1 general visa holders do not need a cert of sponsorship to work in UK while a tier 2 general applicants would need a cert of sponsorship.

besides this difference are there other pro and con for getting a tier 1 general

The main con with Tier 1(general) is that it longer exists other than for those who already hold that status and wish to extend.
