hi will appreciate your thoughts please. my wife parent's are British and they have been in the UK since she was 2 years and claimed child benefits in her name even though she was abroad, she first came to UK in 2003, in 2007 we had our first child n she on the advice of her mum applied for child benefit because she insisted it was ok. she can't remember if she tick not under immigration control but later when she realised (18months later) it was a recourse to public funds she discontinued receiving it and every subsequent visa she applied she did not tick receiving CHB. as you know previously it was not on application form,

she is about to apply ILR and now little concerned.
