ILR//Working Tax Credit (Joint)

Post by TheBat » Mon Feb 03, 2014 3:14 pm

Greetings All,

Please advise... My wife was granted a 2 year spouse
visa under the old rules and she is now in the UK. In her original
application she declared that I was claiming Working Tax Credits due to low
income, but the visa was granted because I own fully a profitable limited
property company which fully covers all my living expenses and I receive a
minimum salary from the company which I only need for food purchases.

Now, my single claim for Working Tax Credits has ended as my wife is now
here. So, I have submitted a new joint claim for Working Tax Credit and she
also had to sign the form. The question is:

- Will the new joint claim for Working Tax Credits affect my wife's eventual
ILR application?

- And, as she landed in the UK on 14th December 2013 when should I apply for
her ILR? What documents will I need at the time of her ILR application for
submission? And, how far back will the documents need to go?

Thank you

A joint claim is fine.

Why such a delay, did you appeal a decision?
