Backdating child benefits

my wife got ilr this week now she is applying for ch2 child benefit for son...its will will start from previous 3 months or or the date she got her visa thanks

She qualifies for benefits from the day she gets ILR, not from three months before that.

For the entire period before ILR, including the preceding three months, she would have had "no recourse to public funds".
