hi ...i recently got married to a British girl. she was claiming child tax credit. couple of days ago she told them about change of circumstances that i moved in 1st of feb 2016.she could of lie but she didnt. we got married last month. they immediately stopped that benefit and told her they over paid her more thn £1000 and she has to pay them back and make a new claim with my name on it.i heard after marriage we have 30 days to tell them n we did between that time idk which money they asking for. im on immigration rule cant apply any benefit. and i will put my case next week. i dont know much as my solicitor told me he ll apply for discretionary leave. well can u pls tell me what to do. we requested them for new form that will take couple of weeks and 4 5 weeks to sort everything out. really worried how to pay house rent n food bcuz of no work. i read in april they will introduce new law for child benefit. may b cut more money. any suggestion pls
