Hi there,
I became British citizen by naturalization in 2015, never worked since arrived in the UK in 2008 as I had to look after my child and my partner works more than 24 hours and earns £35000 pa.
I am actively looking for work now can I apply for job seeker allowance ?
Please advise

Make an appointment at your local Job Centre. You'll be expected to show that you are actively seeking employment and are available to work. This isn't an immigration issue.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
