NHS and EEA2: Can I register?

Post by buttercup88 » Tue Nov 17, 2009 5:55 am

Hi,

I'm an American living in the EU with my British husband. We're going to move to the UK in a couple of months.

Instead of "Leave to Remain", I'm applying for an EEA2 via Surinder Singh case.

My husband will be a full-time student and part-time worker.

I read somewhere if your sponsor is a student, then you both need private medical insurance...BUT my hubby is a UK citizen...
so what's the deal with that?

When was enter the UK, am I automatically entitled to register with the NHS?
