hi 2 all and thanks alot 4 ur kind support throughout :) ,
after i got ILR, :) last month i applied for housing allowance but now its been a month and my council havent replied,nor acknowledge me wheather they are giving me any allowance or not :x Please help with ur experience how much does it take to get the housing allowance as i am already2 months late ov my rent :cry: and my landlord is getting mad on me :oops: thanks so much for ur help in advance :idea:

hi generlly if you hve all the document then they repply every quick and maximum of 4 week otherwise they call you for ddition document.
better tht u call them

sonia jahan, it might help if you contact one of the Councillors for the Ward in which you live. Councillors will tend to have good contacts with the Housing Benefit office.
