NI Contribution query

Post by indoukrb » Tue Nov 29, 2011 1:26 pm

Hi,

I am in ILR and working in permanent employment but there is no pension in my salary structure. My deductions would be NI and IncomeTax.
From above context I have few queries on NI mentioned below. Your respose would be highly appreciated.

1. If someone contributed more NI and not accessed public funds at any time, then is there any advantages to him/her or does he/she get any other benefits.

2. What would be difference between two persons, one paid very less NI and other contributes more.

3. If there is a gap between employment, do I still need to pay NI?

4. Since my employment doesn't cover pension, is there any way that I could be benefitted pension from my NI contribution or similor?

Your response would be most appreciated.

Thanks in adavnce.
