Child benefit and Child Tax credit claims query

Can we claim a child benefit a child tax credit for our 3 years child now? both parents have ILR but child has no valid leave yet, she was born in the UK as we are going to apply for her British registration after a few months. OR should we wait until her British registration application done? Thanks in Advance

If you both hold ilr yes. It is the parents that claim not the child.

Note it is universal credit now not tax credits.

If the child has no visa, have you got private medical insurance to cover NHS for the child?
