New rules for PBS Dependants

Hi,
I'm currently on Tier 2 General (Sponsored by my employer) and considering switching as Tier 2 Dependant since my spouse has a Tier 2 General on her own. In case I switch, will the period that I have spent on tier 2 count towards my ILR or do I have to stay in UK for 5 years as Tier 2 Dependant to apply for ILR.
