Wife and Son under Tier 2 General- Landing Time Frame

Hi,

I am working in UK- London since Jan 2013, my family gor their visas before couple of weeks; due to some issues they might be little late joining me here..

My question is: do they have to land to UK within a specific time after getting their visas (3 months or so) or them as a partner and son are not required to appear that fast?

Please advise...
