Converting Tier 2 (ICT) to Tier 2 (General)

I came to UK in Sept 2010 on Tier 2 (ICT) and still continuing with the same employer. My visa got renewed in 2012 and valid till Aug 2015. I have following two queries :
1. If my employer allows (By Providing new COS) whether I am eligible to convert my visa category to tier 2 (General) ? if yes what is the process ?
2. By doing so whether I would be eligible for ILR in Sept 2015 ?

You can switch to T2G but only if you change sponsor

2. By doing so whether I would be eligible for ILR in Sept 2015 ?
no, unless you applied for your T2 ICT visa before 6 April 2010. This wouldn't be the case if your visa category was Tier 2 Established Staff

Can you further help me in understanding.
a) If my employer wants can my stay be further extended beyond 2015 ?
b) In that case whether I will be eligible for ILR/Citizenship ever ?

there is no limit to the number of T2 ICT extensions you can have if your sponsor wants to continue employing you

b) In that case whether I will be eligible for ILR/Citizenship ever
not under the PBS 5 year rule (as explained above) but you will be eligible for ILR in September 2020 under the long residency rules
