Urgent - Tier 2 ICT Extension - WITHOUT Passport

Hi,

I have submitted my passport for renewal at Indian embassy 5 weeks back & still waiting...

My UK VISA Is expiring on 20-Mar-2014

Can I apply for Tier 2 Extension without Passport?????

There is a section in UK VISA renewal form that "Passport not submitted - as expired & sent to NAtional authorities."...

Can we use that while applying for extenstion till we get the passport back....

Submit your application before your current visa expires. Presumably you have a photocopy of the passport you sent for renewal and can complete the details they ask for on the form. Tick the box "expired, returned to national authorities" and give details in a covering letter- this should be OK provided the passport expiry date is not too far in the future.
