Changes to the UKBA Website

Post by Sheffield_Marketeer » Thu Mar 13, 2014 4:22 pm

It seems that the UKBA website has gone through a redesign and is now redirecting to the http://www.gov.uk/ page.
I have always found that the gov.uk site lacking in updated information and its a point of worry if this is the case concerning immigration policies and information.

I did a random check to see if they have the updated fees there and guess what, this is what I found:-

You are taken to this page (if you want to apply from within the country)-
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... ation-fees

It shows a pdf with the fees table, but while it says its published in Feb 2014 (the latest fee changes took place then), the pdf shows 2013 fees.
Now this is what makes me angry, in fact incredibly angry. Cos some poor soul may end up downloading an old form or making wrong payments not knowing that these have been updated.

Why are these people so so so casual about things that could cause major upheavals in people's life. I have heard numerous cases of people make genuine mistakes sending out old forms.

I will be writing to them to point out this error.

Because there are no changes since feb 2013 in the fees. The website page is published in 2014 but the pdf doc would remain same.
