Delay in returning passport back to me- Any advise ??

Hello All

I need advise on the following:-

I have submitted for my LTR extension on 14th March and then submitted the bio metrics application in post office on 19th March (my VISA was valid until 31st March)

However,till date i haven't yet received my passport back or got the Bio metrics card back. I need to travel back to my home country on 12th April for a personal requirement and need help.

Is there anything that could be done here or should i just carry on waiting? Is there any helpline number for me to ring.
I also heard that nowadays the passports are being sent earlier in advance to ensure the applicant can travel back on emergency. However this hasn't yet happenned in my case and am concerned.

U can travel on your passport but can't come back without visa

If your emergency is more important than your extension than simply call HO and tell them u want to withdraw your application as u

can't wait because of emergency.

otherwise

waiting is the best option.
