Certificate of Sponsorship requested twice

Hi,

Two weeks back my company provided CoS to me and it is valid till 22 June 2014.
I dropped my visa application on 2 April, 2014.

My manager confused expiry date of CoS with work end date (on 5 April 2014)
and he requested new CoS from Home Office and received it today.

But, I already applied for visa with the previous CoS.
Does it cause any issue on my visa decision ?
If it is, then please suggest me how to resolve this issue ?

did your sponsor just amend the CoS by means of a sponsor note or did they actually withdraw it and assigned a new CoS to you?

did they give you a printout of the original CoS and the new (or amended) one? If not, ask for it.

I am not sure, whether the CoS amended or withdraw and assigned. I will confirm with my manager tomorrow in office.
Both previous and new CoS have same details with minor changes like certificate number, valid date and work start and end dates (8/4/2014 to 5/4/2015).

Yes, my manager gave the printout of new CoS to me.

Could you please tell me the consequences of CoS with amended or withdraw and reassigned ?
My company doesn't have any experience on the visa process.
They recently registered in Home office to provide Tier 2 migrant (from Post study work) visa to me.
I request you all to please share your knowledge about this issue.

My manger said to me, that he requested for new CoS without withdraw the previous CoS.

Your manager probably requested a new unrestricted CoS allocation

Tell him/her that before the current CoS is used, i.e. before your application is decided, it may be possible to alter the CoS that has been assigned to you by means of a sponsor note. S/he should phone the HO employer helpline (0300 123 4699) to check if this is possible in the particular circumstances.

Also, it is not allowed for a person to have two CoSs. If you will have a new CoS you should vary your application by using the new CoS number. You can only do this before the application is decided.
