On home office website it states
How long you can stay
You can apply to extend your visa for up to 2 years at a time up to a total maximum stay of 6 years.

If applicant wishes to work for same employer beyond six years, can they leave and re enter under fresh applicant to restart the entry clearance ? Or there is no other way to work beyond this period?

Shouldn't the title of your post be Tier 2 rather than Tier 5?

If the 6 year T2G limit applies to you then after 6 years you have to leave the UK and cannot return to work before the end of the 1 year cooling off period.

Will you not be eligible for ILR after 5 years on T2G?
