Dependent of Tier 2 General - Unmarried Partner

Hi,

What documents are needed for dependent of Tier 2 general visa (sponsorship) if my partner is unmarried and not living with me right now?

I and my partner lived together from Oct 2010 to July 2013 in UK. initially we both were on student visa and then got Post Study Work visa. but my partner's PSW visa expired before mine in July 2013 and she left UK. I got sponsorship from my employer and now on Tier 2 General visa. So, I believe I can ask my unmarried partner to join me on dependent of Tier 2 visa. But I don't know whether this is possible. and if yes then what exact documents are required?
