Tier 2 general maintenance and English test

Hi,
I am applying for a tier 2 general visa from India, and I am currently in uk as tier 2 ICT dependant. So I am going outside UK to apply for tier2 general. My employer has provided a restricted COS too.

I have two questions and any help is much appreciated.

1) for maintenance requirements, my sponsor has checked the tick box in COS, which says "Tick to confirm the sponsor certifies maintenance for the migrant", do I need any other proof from me or employer for sponsor certified maintenance.

2) English language requirements, I passed out from Anna university, Tamil Nadu, India in 2006 in Bachelor of engineering. But the PBS calculator in home office websites list 7-8 options for Anna university and each has different points, a few with 0 and one option with 10 points. And I called home UKBA and UKVI international helpline, and UK NARIC and no one knows it clearly nor in any home office websites. Could anybody help on this question please?
