Need Help - Tier2 General - Degree

Hi All,


I am going to apply for a T2 general Visa, my concern is I have got a Duplicate Degree certificate instead of original (Thanks to Indian post they lost it ).

The duplicate degree certificate issued by the university has a mark of Duplicate Copy, will this cause any issue.?


Has any one of you faced this issue before/ help/guidance needed.

Can anyone one guide me on this ?

Should I produce a letter from university stating that the medium for instructions in my university is English and that all my modules were taught in English

Or this degree from university with duplicate stamped will suffice?

I do not know about the duplicate marks card being accepted but if I was you, I would submit all the other semester marks cards as well just to be safe and write a cover letter with a reason for the duplicate marks card.

And for the English language proof, you can go to the points calculator website below, fill in all the sections and in the end take a print of the SELF ASSESSMENT Summary page and submit it along with your visa application and documents.

Thanks , As mentioned above I wrote a cover letter stating as to why I am submitting a duplicate degree . I also submitted my semester mark-sheets, just to be safe, and got my visa granted.

It shouldn't be a problem to anyone else, if you don't have a original degree
