Tier 2 maintenance fund in spouse's account ?

Post by vibez_well » Mon Aug 18, 2014 1:50 pm

Hello !

Is it alright to have the maintenance funds ( £900 ) for 3 months in the spouse's bank account ? Or is it mandatory to have it in the tier 2 applicant's account ?

Thanks !

If the application is for the main applicant, then the a/c has to be in the main applicant's name.

If the application is for the dependent, then the a/c can be in the main applicant's name provided you can submit proof of marriage / relationship between them.

Also, a letter from A-rated sponsor might work as a sponsorship proof.
