This is Ibrahim Nour currently working in Vodafone Egypt and I have been offered in Vodafone Group Services in UK for a new job where the employer informed me that I will be granted a Visa Tier 2 ICT as I am currently working on Vodafone Egypt, I have some questions regarding this type of visa:
1- Is there any possibility to switch from Tier 2 ICT to T2G after the 5 years?
Not from within UK. you will have to return to your home country and apply for entry clearance.
2- What is the probability of changing the employer and get a new visa with type T2G after 2-3 years (I know that this is rarely to be happened)?
Same answer as above
3- Which extra effort need to be done by the employer to grant me T2G visa from the beginning? is there any restrictions or extra cost that considered as a show stopper here?
The employer needs to conduct RLMT and apply for a restricted CoS. This entire cycle will take ard 6-8 weeks
4- If I spend the 5 years as Tier 2 ICT and hence I have to leave the country, is there any type of compensation / money to be transferred to me either from the company or the country?
Nothing from the country. From the compacy - it will depend on your contract/agreement with the company.
Sorry for the long post.
Thanks in advance,
Ibrahim Nour

Be aware, you would also be subject to a 12 month 'cooling off period' where you would have to be out of the UK before you could apply for the T2G.

Unlikely because of RLMT AND the need to serve the cooling off period. What employer really wants to wait at least 12 months before you could start???

RLMT.

No idea what you mean by this...
Sorry for the long post.

no

not possible in-country, you would need to apply from Egypt after 1 year cooling-off.

your prospective employer is a licenced sponsor and if they offered you a job they wouls be aware of what to do and the associated cost

compensation for what?
