Tier 2 CoS Renewal

Hello all,

My company's current CoS expires on 31 October, and my visa expires 21 days after that; so it's time to renew things.

But when my HR manager tried to apply for a new Certificate (same SOC code, same everything), she was told by the home office helpline that we can't apply for a new Certificate until 1 month before the previous one expires.

Is that right? That leaves me 1 month to both get a new certificate AND a new visa; and if anything goes wrong, I would hardly have time to appeal.

Any advice? Many many thanks!
