Pls who knows the meaning of No Current Application with HO

Hello
I applied for Tier 2 on the 1st of Aug 2014
Did the Biometrics on the 21st of Aug
My former employer helped checked with the HO on the 28 of Aug, and was told that I had no current application with them (HO)

Could someone tell me what this means,, as I had been hoping to receive my package through post since then, and nothing had come yet...

Please every advice will be appreciated as I don't even know what to do again...
