Tier 2 Visa - CoS details

My future employer today mailed me the COS number that they obtained today from September allocation. I will be applying for a visa next week and I realized that there is a lot of information that has not been conveyed to me by HR. What should they normally send to me so that I fill in the visa application correctly?

Ask for a printout of the CoS. Say that you want to make sure that the details in your application match what is in the CoS exactly.
