Restricted CoS

Hi,

My husband's company had applied for restricted CoS on 3rd September. The list of allocated CoS was updated online on 12th September.

When his company called home office on 15th, they told time varies from one another and to wait for e-mail.

We did not hear anything from them yet and when checked online today, the status is decision awaiting.

Does anyone know the timeline and why it is taking so much time.

For some applications, UKBA may want to do some background checks before it gives approval to sponsor to assign the CoS. Maybe this one is going through the same. If all the paperwork is fine, it should come through. Apparently, there is no timeline defined for doing such checks.
