TIER 2 -ICT ILR eligibility

Hi there,

I would like to check eligibility for ILR SET(O) application.
Hi .

I have my first visa from 31 Mar 2010 and traveled to UK on 5th Apr 2010 on Tier 2 Intra Company Transfer Visa . The current visa is valid until 26 Feb 2015.

I'm fulfilling all other requirements to apply for ILR, but need to understand when/what date I can apply for ILR in person as I know a case can be presented 28 days before completion of 5 years, Can I apply for ILR some days before mandatory 28 days in person and what are exception processes?

Any help or suggestion will be good or pointer?

Hi Disha,

Officially it is written as 28 days before which you can apply for settlement. But I have seen some people in a similar situation where they have applied around 30 to 40 days before and still they have got the settlement. But I would say it was a gamble. I am struggling to think whether you have any alternative. I do not remember exactly as whether you can extend your visa a bit more so that you will be eligible. If you do not have an option, give it a go and you might succeed.
