OTHER COUNTRY VISA..MANCI NEED UR KIND ADVICE:(

Dear Manci & My seniors,

I have applied for Tier 2 general visa(nurses 2231) and waiting for my decision.I have applied it from India,Cochin.

My query is that i had been employed as a RECEPTIONIST at Abudhabi for a period of 8 months and i came back from UAE without cancelling my visa and it s now automatically cancelled as per UAE rules.Even i have changed my passport to add my wife name and i have also submitted my old cancelled passport to VFS.

Do you think is it a problem to work for a different field when we apply for an entirely different job.But i am a qualified nurse with all certifications and experience.I just went off field for some time.

Kindly advise.

It will not be a problem. There is an acute shortage of qualified nurses in the UK. As long as you have met the requirements it is irrelevant what your current role is in your home country.

Staying out of UK for 6 months does not "automatically" cancel your visa.

You can apply to the Ministry of Labour and pay AED 500 to apply for a re-entry permit and enter with permission as long as your visa is still valid (E.g. dependents).
