Salary paid in India

Post by shabhas » Fri Oct 24, 2014 1:55 pm

Hi,

I am working on ICT tier 2 short term visa in UK (secondment with a salary of £40000) but I am not paid in UK. My salary is paid in India and some allowance will be paid in GBP to live in UK. But my total Indian CTC plus the allowance is not matching with £40000. Can you please expalin me how this can be done? Should I pay tax here because my company is not paying any tax in UK and also they are showing the allowance as expense. quick reply is appreciated.
