Clarification required on Tier 2 Leave To Remain

Hi,
Currently I am in UK on the following visas types(there is no change in employer during this period)

1> Visa Tier 2 (ICT) Established Staff (07-Apr-2011 to 26-Apr-2014) – this was applied for extension as below
2> T2 ICT Long term Leave to Remain( 20-Apr-2014 to 24-04-2016) - current

Totalling 5 years and 14 days.

I have 2 questions

1) As per latest UKBA rules, would I be eligible for my next extension in 2016 ? I have spent 5 years in UK and hoping for another extension of 3 years.
2) Am I eligible to switch to Tier2(General) visa ?

Not been out of UK for more then a month in any year anytime. Any quick help on this would be very much appreciated.
