Extension of Tier 2 (General) Visa

Dear sir,
I am a Tier 2 (General) visa holder. My current visa renewal date is May 2015. But my sponsor company's sponsor renewal date is December 2015. Now, can my sponsor issue a CoS for me for my extension? As my sponsor needs to renew sponsorship on December 2015, is this going to be any issue to make an application for myself for another 2 years on May 2015? Or sponsor company need to apply for the licence extension first and then issue a CoS for mw on the SMS?

Your sponsor can issue you a CoS for another 2 years as long as their license is valid. However, if they fail to renew their license before the license end date, any visas they have sponsored and are active (e.g. Tier 2 for you), will be reduced to 60 days. If you cannot find another job in 60 days, you have to leave the country.
