Permanet address for Tier 2 visa application

Hi All,

I will apply for Tier-2 General category from France in the first week of February, 2015. I have a residence card valid till April, 2016. I am residing in the current residence from last 1 year and 10 months. My residence contract will end in January, 2015. I plan to shift at my friends place in February, 2015. Upon getting the visa, I will move to the U.K. Do i need to have a residence contract at the time of visa application ? Which permanent address i will mention in my visa application ?

we had entered the address that was mentioned in the passport.

Thanks adithi10 for your response.I do not have an address mentioned on my passport. In fact, i do have an address on my French residence card (my current residence address). What can i do now ?

then you can use the French residence card address. they are not going do any background check on that

I will not be residing at my current address (declared on my residence card) at the time of application. So you mean it is still ok to mention my old address as my permanent address. Am i right ? .

In fact, i will be temporarily residing at my friends place i.e. another address. Will it be ok, if I mention my friend's address in the category asked in visa application form "Are your preferred contact details different from the contact details already provided above?".

in the preferred contact details you can mention your friend's address where you are currently staying. they use this address if they want to communicate with you.
