Need Clarification on Tier 2 Dependent Visa

Hi Team,

My wife holds an Tier ICT Short-term Staff Migrant Visa (Valid: till July/2014) and is working in the UK. I accompanied her as a Dependent and found a Job here recently.

My new employer has agreed to sponsor my visa and obtained a Tier 2 General Restricted certificate of sponsorship. Now, My employer is asking to go to my home country and get my Visa stamped. I'm planning to go to India In January/2014 to get stamped.

1. Can I take my wife also to get her Visa stamped as my dependent? If yes, Would she be able to continue what she was doing here (as her assignment ends only in June/2014). What happens to her current visa? Will that be cancelled?

2. If getting a dependent Visa for my wife causes problems to her current job in UK, then, can she switch as my dependent once her assignment is over in June/2014 with out leaving the country?

Please advice.
