Dependant Visa for my newborn

Post by nguru » Wed Jan 21, 2015 11:34 am

Hi All,

I'm in UK on Tier 2 General Visa and my visa was done by company last year.

I have a newborn in India and I would be applying Tier 2 dependant visa for her. I'm not sure of the paperwork and documents needed and if I'll need an agent. I contacted one of the agents online and they quoted INR 75000 for assisting in filing the application.

Please advise if anyone knows a good agent in Mumbai area.

Thanks
Niraj

Agent is not at all required. Applying for dependent visa is not difficult and can be done online. You will find all the information on gov.uk site. You can start with: https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general/overview

Read all the related documents properly and you should be able to apply on your own.

If any doubts, you can ask your queries in this forum. But, you are expected to read the contents, do not expect someone here will guide you with step-by-step process to do it.
