Switching from Tier-2 ICT (dependent) to Tier-2 General Main

Dear All,

I came to UK in July 2011 on Tier 2 ICT Main applicant and my wife as Tier 2 ICT Dependent.

Currently she has a job offer in UK from a company and the company is ready to sponsor her Tier2 General visa (after all Labor Market Test). I have few queries regarding this.

1) Can she apply Tier 2 General visa from UK or she need to travel to home country for making application?

2) Can I switch to Tier 2 dependent on her visa once she get it or cooling off period needs to be served?

3) Suppose she gets her Tier 2 General Visa (say from home country) and travels to UK. Once she is here can I apply as Tier 2 General Dependent application withing UK or do I have to make application it from my home country?

She need to apply for entry clearance from home country, she cannot apply from UK.

2) Can I switch to Tier 2 dependent on her visa once she get it or cooling off period needs to be served?
No cooling off period if you want to switch to her depedent.

3) Suppose she gets her Tier 2 General Visa (say from home country) and travels to UK. Once she is here can I apply as Tier 2 General Dependent application withing UK or do I have to make application it from my home country?
You can apply for her dependent from within UK.
