This is my first posting on this forum and I am kindly requiring some advice regarding my status.
I am a teacher on a Tier 2 Visa sponsored by my school. My wife's resident card states that she is a PRB dependent.
My dilemma and query is this : I received a ban 2 years ago for TT99 and wanted to find out if this will negatively impact my application for ILR as I am led to believe via the internet that it is NOT a criminal conviction.
Secondly, I applied for a certificate from the police also 2 years ago and it came back clear with no criminal convictions.
Are we okay to apply for ILR and how long does it take to process.....nowadays ?
