Dependent kid travelling with grandparents without parents

Post by encandator » Wed Mar 18, 2015 8:17 pm

Hello All,

I am working in UK on a Tier 2 ICT. My wife and daughter have got their Tier 2 - Dependent visa. My wife is planning to come to UK first and get my daughter with her grandparents at a later stage. I just want to know if there will be any problems while entering UK for my kid. (while filling the visa form we have entered that my daughter will be travelling with the mother).

We can provide a consent letter. Is there any additional documentation required? Any inputs will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

According to my experience there wouldnt be any problem unless your parent got the Consent from yourself. but the consent should be original and Signed with all the details of yourself.

my daughter just arrived in london with my cousin sister, and there is no problem, though simple enquiry is held.

Hi Dipendra,

Can I have a draft copy of consent letter,if you do not mind please. Because I am also planning to bring my daughter with my cousin.

It would be great help to me.

Thanks,

Dinesh
