Hello!
I am hoping someone can please help. I was recently made redundant and now have a new employer who has just finished the RLMT and I have a few questions:
1. How do I notify the UKBA that I am no longer working for my previous employer? Do I simply ask my old employed to revoke their CoS for me? It has been 3 weeks since I left will this be a problem do you think?
2. Is there a time period for this to process? My new company is looking to apply for a CoS tomorrow will there be an issue if it still shows I have one with my old employer or will it override it? What is the best way to solve this problem?
3. When submitting documents for CoS does my new employer include my CV along with the unsuccessful applicants? Where do they send the documents to?
4. What is the average processing time for a CoS?
Any help would be so greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read this!

Your previous employer had to report your leaving the organisation within 10 days. It's one of their responsibility as a sponsor. They ideally should have done it. However, you can check with them when did they do it for your confirmation.

It's not responsibility to take care of this. It's your previous sponsor's job to do it as mentioned before.

They need to keep all the relevant documents with them. As some point, home office will ask them to be shared with them OR they will check them as part of their sponsor visit.
4. What is the average processing time for a CoS?
Unrestricted Cos takes from few hrs to few days. Restricted CoS allocation is decided once every month.
