Sponsor licence suspended: How likly it will be revoked?

Post by danmaloon » Sat Sep 12, 2015 2:13 pm

our company received a letter form UKBA, listing all the non-conformances. the major ones are:

1. we failed to report to UKBA when a visa holder left the country 3 years ago

2. we failed to issue a new visa to a colleague holding tier2 visa when promoted inside the company. (this looks pretty serious... but its in side the company, and common sense, no one can take the job better than the current employee... )

3. no employee profile system...etc. (it is now fixed)

We have fixed some of the issues and sent back a reply and all evidences to UKBA. Right now we are waiting for their final decisions.

I've started looking for jobs but how likely will the licence be revoked?

Thanks. Pleas help......

Generally the company would either have its licence revoked, or be imposed an action plan at a cost to the company. If an action plan is imposed, there will be time for that to be met, if the sponsor then meets the requirements of the action plan (they may well get a second visit to check thios) then the licence could be reinstated.
