TIER-2 ICT Long Term Child

Post by Prashantckc » Mon Sep 14, 2015 3:02 pm

Hi All

Me and my wife are holders of ICT Long Term Visa (My wife as dependent)

She went to India for birth of our child and we applied for the dependent VISA for my child on Jul-2015. I kept the travel date as 15-Sep-2015 and was assuming that I will get 30 Day VISA covering my date of travel.

However I got the VISA for the Month of JUl-2015 Itself. I then contacted the VFS (Via Paid service) and after 4 weeks of continuous follow up via email and phone, I received reply from them to apply for Vignette transfer.

Now there is confusion, as in the online form its asking for the VISA start and end date and End date is not taking any past dates.

So my query is:

a. Is it possible to apply for Vignette transfer after the given 30 Day VISA has been expired?
b. If yes, what should I enter in the VISA dates
Found the below reference ( But its for Student VISA)
http://www.ukcisa.org.uk/International- ... is-issued/
It says:

Reason for Visit: Other
Visa Type: Others
Visa Sub Type: Vignette Transfer
At the end of the application form you should use the 'Any other information' field to explain that you have been granted a Tier 4 visa to study in the UK but you need a new 30-day vignette as you have not been able (or will not be able) to travel to the UK before the end of the 30-day vignette that you have been issued.

c. Or I need to re-apply in the same category ( ICT- Long Term Dependent Child) for a Fresh 30 Day VISA.
